Information on the biometric characteristics, egg morphology, and habitat of O. javanicus are very important for its use as model fish in laboratory, ornamental fish, environmental bioindicators. Therefore, research is needed to analyze character, ricefish brackish water pond Banten Bay. This was conducted non-eperimentally by observing characters examine meristic, morphometric, sex dimorphism characteristics. Observations morphology were macroscopic microscopic Habitat characteristics observed measuring quality situ. The results showed that from Linduk had meristic D.6–7; A.21–22; P.9-10; V.5–6 shape size dorsal anal fins. Blue metallic color pattern head yellow fins potentially fish. eggs have a diameter 1.08 ± 0.02 mm, equipped with attaching filaments non-attaching. non-attaching 0.14 0.03 mm length. percentage yolk area 73.7 4.85%, oil droplet 8.3 0.54% at gastrula stage volume 0.349 0.048 mm3.
